Late last year (2017), Summit Access Solutions was invited by MCM Construction to tender a large refurbishment project on a five-story residential building in Marrickville.
The project took nine months to complete with major restructuring needed to the body of the brickwork across the entire building. Bricks were removed and cleaned, repointed and reset. Concrete structures were repaired and required painting. Nearly every window across the entire building required sealing while each individual window frame received a base coat followed by two coats of paint to jazz up the existing framework. The end result was a building that now looks half its age.
Our small team that varied in size across the months of the project delivered outstanding results. This long–term project was a first for SAS but after such great results and feedback, it certainly won’t be the last of its kind.
